Call for proposals - WWP EN Grants for safe, effective and sustainable perpetrator work - 2025

 

In 2025, The European Network for the Work with Perpetrators of Domestic Violence (WWP EN) will offer its members financial support through grants for safe, effective and sustainable perpetrator work. WWP EN will support programmes in building their capacities and aligning their practice with the European Standards for Perpetrator Programmes.

 

Who can apply?

 

Applicants must fulfil all the criteria listed below:

 

  • Be a full member of the WWP European Network (affiliate members, as well as organisations who have membership through a national network, will not be eligible).
  • Be a legal entity and non-profit organisation.
  • Work directly with people who perpetrate violence in close relationships or indirectly as National Networks of Perpetrator Programmes.
  • Be established in a Member State of the European Union (including overseas countries and territories (OCTs).
  • Respect EU values as laid down in Art.2 of the Treaty on European Union and the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights.

 

Activities that can be funded:

 

  • Training
  • Capacity building
  • Running and ensuring continuity of perpetrator programmes (NOTE: this activity can only take up a maximum of 50% of the proposed budget. The rest of the budget should be used for activities focused on improving the quality of your programme)
  • Activities for the improvement and evaluation of the quality of service (including an external process)
  • Setting up or improving the evaluation of the programme
  • Improving support to victims and collaboration with victim support services
  • Improving coordinated community response
  • Improving specialized interventions for specific groups of perpetrators
  • Improving intervention aiming at child protection (including programs for perpetrators that are fathers, development or improvement of the child protection policy)
  • Improving risk assessment
  • Improving informatization of data collection and data management
  • Improving advocacy capacity /reach with local administrations and key public authorities to improve multi-agency work
  • Working towards European accreditation, including assessment of the perpetrator programme along the European Standards for Perpetrator Programmes 

 

Grants offered:

  • 30 000 EUR for projects that do not include the cost of the assessment for a European Accreditation
  • 35 000 EUR for projects that do include this assessment – in this case, 4 000 EUR is specifically budgeted for the assessment and there is space to include additional costs incurred by the organisation during the assessment.
