Save the date for the FATHERS ROCK online event "Raising engagement and accountability of men on their pathway to becoming caring fathers" on 21 March.

For the past two years, the MOVE project team has been working to end men´s violence against women, specifically in the context of migration and displacement. Drawing upon their expertise and insights gathered throughout the project, the MOVE team is proud to release the MOVE guidance for Multiagency Collaboration.

Furthermore, the MOVE team has also developed a capacity-building package for perpetrator programmes, highlighting the need for culturally sensitive approaches while working with men from migrant populations. The materials and recordings from European capacity-building workshops are available here.

The CONSENT project team is excited to launch the CONSENT campaign on Valentine's Day. The youth campaign will engage schools and youth associations to enable youngsters to become critical agents, understanding what consent and healthy sexuality should look like. 

Meanwhile, the adult campaign will help parents and educators to support youth in their understanding of CONSENT. An online toolbox has also been developed as a resource for adults and youngsters who want to learn more about consent and related themes. Moreover, the CONSENT campaign aims to call institutions, IT companies and policymakers to action on the risks of premature sexualisation and online abuse among minors, with a focus on sexual abuse.

Since February 2022, Fathers Rock has tirelessly worked to create a collaborative model that empowers men to take active roles in co-responsible parenting and caregiving while holding them accountable for their parental responsibilities. In response to this critical need, the Fathers Rock team has embarked on a mission to equip frontline services with the tools to identify and refer domestic violence cases to relevant services. They have also implemented programs to engage fathers actively in the parenting process.

Stay tuned for the training manuals, which the project team will publish in February in different languages!

Since early 2022, the ASAP 2.0 team has worked on creating effective multiagency responses to domestic violence. The project team delivered upgraded tools for the collaboration between perpetrator programmes, victim support services and other services and a capacity-building programme, replicable across the EU.

Finally, at the online event on 19 April 2024, the project partners will share the ASAP 2.0 protocol and toolkit, essential for establishing a coordinated response to violence against women, and we will hear from other project coordinators on their approaches to comprehensive approaches to end DV. Throughout 2023, STOP! The Violence and Abuse, a key service of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services in Malta, spearheaded a variety of projects to further their mission, spreading the importance of social change and perpetrator work across Malta.

Women and men inmates from Romanian penitentiaries were invited to create artistic works conveying messages of support for domestic violence victims through various mediums such as essays, testimonials, poetry, paintings, and graphics.
